There are a few projects near and dear to my heart - I would love to introduce you to each of them:

DIVERSIFY THE STAND

What began as some frustration at the lack of accessible repertoire for younger musicians turned into a major fundraising effort and ultimately, a non-profit! Diversify the Stand is a Colorado-based non-profit I began with Dr. Carrie Blosser - we saw a gap in terms of repertoire and decided to organize an initiative to make some change. We have worked with some incredible musicians and interviewed many great guests on the DtS podcast!

REPERTOIRE CATALOG

Also known as the “Catalog of Trumpet (and Brass) Works by Gender-Marginalized People and/or Black, Indigenous, or Persons of Color.“ This resource is a catalog of works by marginalized composers I have compiled to show the music community how much amazing music is being written by composers! This is a starting point to diversifying stands and expanding repertoire,
